2020 Neighbourhood Awards

Nominations are now open for the 2020 neighbourhood awards!

The show must go on!

Covid-19 has changed a lot of things and hundreds of events across the globe have been cancelled due to the coronavirus. But it is also important to remember that our communities did not give up as they came together to support each other and achieved some great outcomes. Now, more than ever, it is essential that we continue to recognise the achievements around us.

Recognition is a powerful way for our communities to continue forward, even when it feels like it’s at a standstill. It helps our communities stay positive, engaged and motivated. Therefore, at Red Kite Community Housing we have decided to keep our Neighbourhood Awards Competition open and embrace this era of digital experiences by running our award event virtually so that we can continue to recognise all the amazing work within and across our communities, and appreciate those people who are making a positive contribution to their communities.

You can nominate and appreciate people in the following categories by clicking here.

Closing date for nominations is Friday 21st August.

Please note: Due to the COVID-19 situation, we’ll not be holding any formal ceremony, and all prizes and certificates will be sent electronically or via post if needed. We’ll announce the winners on our website, social media and via digital newsletter.

Please phone 07767 481855 or email Bazgha.sultana@redkitehousing.org.uk for more information, or if you have any questions.

hiya bucks

Here at hiya bucks we go on regular walks exploring the local towns, villages, public footpaths, gardens, rivers, lakes and more! We love getting out and about discovering new places to visit and we thoroughly enjoy going to local events and getting involved with the community. We hope to inspire others to step out of their daily routines and see more of our Beautiful Buckinghamshire.
