Helen

Editor and Founder

I created hiya bucks magazines in 2013. Since then I have realised that I love supporting local groups, organisations, charities, not for profit businesses and artisan producers. By creating this website I can reach out to the whole of Buckinghamshire and not just South Bucks where the magazines are distributed. My aim is for hiya bucks to be the hub of anything and everything happening in our beautiful county.

I have been working with Crisp Web Design every step of the way to make sure this website provides the residents and visitors to our beautiful Buckinghamshire with all the information they need!

Graphic Designer

I’ve been in the printing industry all my working life. 8 years ago I set up my own graphic design business. Now I get to work from home and spend lots of time with my adorable dog Snickers. I’ve been designing Hiya Bucks magazines from their inception. I really enjoy creating eye-catching adverts, styling the pages and being a part of the business. Hearing feedback from readers about how professional the magazines look makes me very happy.

I just wanted to say a big thank you for putting our ad in the hiya bucks publication on such a great page. Thank you so much. It helped the event to be very successful, so we are very appreciative.”

Cathryn and the Holtspur School PTA

“Hiya Bucks is always very supportive of the work of Buckinghamshire Mind. We really appreciate being able to promote our activities and services through the Hiya Bucks magazines and website because it helps us to reach out to more people and ensure that everyone with a mental health problem gets access to the help they need.”

“Thank you for the latest issue of hiya bucks which popped through my door while I was at work today. It is always a pleasure to flick through and select which highlights I will read first before going back and reading the rest.”

Sue Croall, Bourne End Junior Art & Craft Show

“We are so grateful to be able to showcase our club in Hiya Bucks, we get loads of comments from people we don’t know who follow us through the magazine. Thank you.”

Laura, The Gardening Club

“Just to say it is a joy and a pleasure to deal with someone professional like you. I have booked something with another publication – not easy dealing with them – they seem to introduce a number of spelling errors and then omit some of the key things from the ad. (Good job I do yoga – to calm me down!!!) Thanks for being so professional.”

Amanda, Hypnotheraphy and Stress Counsellor

I love Hiya Bucks, it’s really well written and full of info that’s actually useful (unlike a number of other local guides I’ve seen)!
