Autumn Workshops at Where Inspiration Blooms

WHERE INSPIRATION BLOOMS IS BACK Celebrating Autumn Workshops from 11th – 27th September

It’s been a difficult few months for Chesham based craft & wellness centre, Where Inspiration Blooms. Local mum business partners Caroline Oden and Jules Cossins have spent most of the last few months home schooling their kids whilst working out how to keep their relatively new business whilst social distancing measures make it nigh on impossible to run workshops in their inside space.

Adapting to the shifting sands they ran a ‘Wellbeing Festival’, back in July, once lockdown measures began to lift, using a very large meeting room at their next door neighbours – Chartridge Lodge Conference Centre. This proved a resounding success as their community of followers, avid crafters and local people ventured out, some for the first time in 12 weeks, to do something that nourished both body and mind.

Now they’re back, using the Conference Centre again for a 2-week mini festival ‘Celebrating Autumn’.

From 11th to 27th September WIB will be running a whole host of workshops designed to ‘create some joy’ in these uncertain times.

Caroline explains why they decided to run mini-festival now, “Autumn is such a beautiful time of year, and we want to celebrate its stunning colours and natural changes through our wonderful community of teachers and tutors. After all the stresses of 2020 so far, we hope that in our selection of workshops people will find something that they can really enjoy and that will help take their minds off some of the stresses and anxieties of this year so far.”

Jules adds, “With the children finally going back to school, we know that mums everywhere now have an enormous to do list to catch back up on, but we wanted to offer a couple of hours away from it all, for people to explore their creativity, learn a new skill or simply see friends in a different environment. Our goal with all of our workshops is always for folk to leave feeling better than when they arrived!”

Workshops on offer include everything from Sourdough Making to Watercolour Painting, Family Yoga to Ceramics and everything in between and are taught by a host of wonderful local expert teachers.
