The essential station for the whole county, Bucks Radio aims to fill a much-missed void delivering local news and travel, championing local charities, supporting local businesses and entertaining the local masses with a must-listen-to mix of local current affairs, forthcoming events and music through the decades, from well-loved classics to today’s latest hits.
Home-grown broadcaster Richard Carr has joined forces with Co-Founder Nathan Cooper who has been behind the mic as the voice of Bucks for over 20 years. The station offers over 40 years of industry experience and is proud to be able to serve Aylesbury and the surrounding areas.
Presenters many of you already know and love include Ben Moseby who’ll be starting the day in style with Ben’s Big Breakfast. The Bucks Radio baton is then passed to Nathan Cooper from 10am for mid-morning shenanigans including Mini-Motivator, before supporter of unsigned musicians on the emerging talent scene, (and self-confessed crazy cat lady!) Nia Visser, takes to the mic for afternoon antics.
After a year like no other, the team are inviting you to join their radio bubble – and there are many ways to do so! If you’re working from home you can stream online from your household device. If you’re busy home schooling the kids you can holler at your smart speaker. Vehicles with Bluetooth can stream on the move, and with a downloadable app you’ll be able to keep Bucks Radio in your pocket, literally by your side during these unusual times.
The best news is there are no restrictions, and no rule of six as the station will entertain daily, 7 days a week with its packed schedule. Priding itself on being the people’s station, listeners are encouraged to follow @buckinghamshireradio on Facebook for the latest news and updates, and are also invited to message the station with news stories.
