Places to Visit

Bucks County Museum has changed its name to Discover Bucks Museum

A new name for Bucks County Museum.

As we launch our new galleries this September, we are completely transforming what we offer our visitors, so we thought this is a great time for a new identity. We are still the same great people with a wonderful line up of exhibitions and events – a space to explore, learn and wonder about Bucks and to find out about the stories of people and places in this area and beyond.

To celebrate our new name, we are giving away a FREE quality Tote bag printed with our exclusive new Discover Bucks Museum design to the first 50 pre-booked groups through the doors on the 26 June to visit our new summer exhibition Dinosaurs Uncovered.

Dinosaurs Uncovered is an exciting family-friendly exhibition that showcases stunning skeleton and fossil casts from dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts. A must-see for dinosaur fans of all ages. Dinosaurs Uncovered runs from 26 June until 18 September 2021. Visit our new website to book.

We have also launched a new website!

With a brand new name comes a brand new website. It’s a fantastic place to find out what we are up to, what we have coming up and to explore star objects in our collections, as well as charges, opening times and booking information. You’ll see a new website but it will be under our old name for a few more weeks

New galleries opening September.

Our new galleries are called Discover Bucks and tell the stories of Bucks people and places from 200 million years ago to today. Explore Geology, Archaeology, Bucks People, Art and Wildlife and discover amazing objects with incredible stories from the museum’s collections.
