Jenni Honeyben – Children’s mindfulness and emotional well-being videos
I work as a children’s emotional well-being coach and have started creating a series of mindfulness and emotional well-being videos for kids to access online. I am usually based in school or in clients homes, so I wanted to make something to enable me to continue to support the children that I work with (and others too!). My hope is that these short online practices and ideas might go some way towards doing that.
I have already received some lovely feedback from parents who have started to use them as part of their home-schooling day! You can find them on Instagram at @jennihoneyben or on YouTube under the same name.
I’ll be trying to upload two per week. My lovely dad is editing them for me from where he lives in Hampshire, so it’s a team effort!
The Fitness Garden
The Fitness Garden will be launching our online community this week which is a little earlier than scheduled. It makes sense in line with the increased need for support for people looking to strengthen their health, fitness and mental wellbeing in unique circumstances. Our private Facebook group THE FITNESS GARDEN ONLINE will be a hub of FREE resources for people to become educated around Health, Fitness and Mental Wellbeing. By increasing people’s knowledge around these subjects we believe it will help them to make better choices on where and how to engage with activities to suit their personal circumstances. As a not for profit organisation we will be working with partners in the industry to offer regular free content to our online community.
To join THE FITNESS GARDEN ONLINE you just need to search for us on the Facebook search bar and request to join. We already have some home workouts and mindset coaching content available. There is content scheduled from Fitness, Yoga, Pilates and Mindset professionals around the UK and some guest appearances planned from coaches in the U.S. All of this will always be a FREE resource.

Laura Louise Yoga
I am a full time yoga teacher based in Hazlemere and run public classes around the Buckinghamshire area. Obviously due to the current circumstances my classes had to be put on pause. However, I know from my personal experience from both practising and teaching yoga that keeping up a steady practice is essential, especially in such uncertain times.
Therefore, I am now teaching classes online via Zoom, which is a web conferencing app.
The classes are all live, which makes it an even better experience as I can verbally adjust (if you wish to be seen) but also, the ability to talk and connect with the group before and after makes it even more special.
I hold a variety of classes including stronger, more dynamic practices, to softer and slower practices focusing on breathing techniques, meditation and relaxation.

Bucks Guinea Pig Talks
During the Covid-19 outbreak, we are via Facebook running LIVE stream talks about our Guinea Pigs.
Before Covid-19 I was taking our Guinea Pigs into local schools/nurseries in Aylesbury – giving light-hearted, but informative ‘Show & Tells’ age appropriate for the audience. I’ve talked to 3 year olds right up to 11 year olds, as well as Beaver & Cub packs.
For the last couple of weeks we’ve done LIVE talks via Facebook on both a Saturday & Tuesday at 3pm : totally FREE (Show duration about 20-25 mins) – we have almost 900 Followers & had several thousand views over the 5 LIVE shows we’ve done.
The #BetterTogether project was formed by Flux Photographic and Wycombe Youth Action in partnership with The Fitness Garden and Khepera CIC to promote the idea that no matter what’s going on in the world right now, if we work together to communicate, learn and understand we can be better together.
This FREE online project is aimed at young people 11-19 years old and offers twice weekly sessions throughout April. The project will feature anything from thought provoking discussions to fun and creative activities for all the family to enjoy. Sessions will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 2nd April, full session details are available on the poster below.
If you’d like to get involved, you’ll need to register for #BetterTogether using the sign up form at the bottom of this page https://www.fluxphotographic.co.uk/7183819-about-bettertogether and we’ll email over all of the details you’ll need prior to each session including the secure link and password to each session.
For those unable to make it to the live sessions, resources and activities from each session will be available to download here: https://www.fluxphotographic.co.uk/proofing/better-together-downloads
Lockdown Mind Therapy
Stay safe and keep busy whilst remaining indoors!
Dynamic Print Media, a successful creative design and print company whose work over the last week has come to almost a grinding halt due to this terrible virus. Owner Pedro says “we have some very talented staff and expensive print equipment that was standing idol, so we thought let’s put this to some good use!”.
Georgina from GA Illustrations has kindly donated her Illustrations to a Magazine that Dynamic Print Media have produced and printed called Lockdown Mind Therapy. Pedro says “We have put together our LOCKDOWN mind therapy magazine that consists of colouring in, word searches, crosswords, sudoku and a diary/notes section. As the main group that seems to be affected by the self-isolation is the older generation, we are supplying these free of charge and sending to care homes in the local area. Our objective is to produce 3 issues to keep minds active”.
If you are interested in getting hold of copies, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note that for logistical reasons we are not sending single copies.
Here at hiya bucks we’ve already started our book and we can certainly say this is a great thing to do to keep your mind active without looking at a screen. The pencils are fab, unlike others when you’re putting pressure on the lead they don’t snap and they blend together really well on the page. We love the fact the magazine has been printed on carbon captured paper*.

Castle Street Dance Studios
Castle Street Dance Studios based in High Wycombe has moved all its classes online. Since the closure of schools and business our dancers now live stream their Ballet, Tap & Modern classes from the comfort of their own home. Our highly qualified teaching staff have created home studios to teach from and we are hosting our whole timetable virtually! Including Adult classes in Ballet, Tapfit & Zumba.
A lot of hard work and preparation has gone into our classes to keep things as normal as possible for the students during this difficult time. It is important for everyone to stay active and healthy and we hope by offering our classes live online we can promote a sense of normality in our dancer’s routines and give them something to look forward to each week whilst the schools remain closed.
