Singing releases endorphins, the feel-good chemicals in the brain. The release of endorphins can make singers feel happy and give an energy boost. Singing is an aerobic activity and a natural stress reducer, the deep breathing needed to sing draws more oxygen into the blood and causes better circulation which can help to increase your overall health. Also, learning a new skill can boost your confidence and self-esteem!
I am a local mum of two and I teach all ages and enjoy teaching beginners and beyond. I help my students to prepare for exams and auditions but I really love teaching students who want to sing and enjoy themselves. I also provide American accent coaching for singing and dialog for exams and auditions!
Singing and performing build great confidence that can be used in all areas of life and I want to instil a lifelong love of music in everyone that I teach! Music is a marathon so, you don’t want to burn out at a young age – enjoyment is the key to keeping your children interested and involved in music.
I recommend a 30 minute lesson for children which is £20 and teenagers and adults often prefer an hour lesson which is £40. Parents are loving the fact that online singing lessons take place at home and don’t require driving to yet another after school activity!
