We are amazed as to how many businesses have come forward offering delivery services to those who may need it at home.
Sunday Roast by Jack
Jack Blumenthal and his incredibly talented chefs have devoted their time and energy into “Sunday Roast By Jack” for the last two weeks and hence forward. They are proud to bring you a restaurant-quality Sunday Roast to your front door. Their 15-minute warm-it-up easy concept ensures all customers have an expertly cooked and delicious roast dinner in the comfort of their own home. You can have your meal delivered or assign yourself a collection time from our hub point located in Marlow. Social distancing measures have been put in place to ensure customer health and safety at all times. Mains will be rotated weekly, with one Red Meat, one White Meat and one Non-Meat option. All meals will need to be cooked in a preheated oven for 12-15mins at 170C Fan. 20% of all profits are donated towards the NHS and all NHS workers receive 50% off the entire menu.

Knead Wood Fired Pizza
We are open Friday (3rd April) and Saturday (4th April) from 5pm until 9pm at The Three Horseshoes, Flackwell Heath. Orders must be placed and paid for online through our website (www.knead.pizza) or our Facebook page.
For Contactless Collection, once order is placed customers will receive an approximate pick up time – hopefully this will prevent any unnecessary hanging around.
Deliveries will be kept hot in our new amazing self-heating delivery bags and left on doorsteps.
Extra precautions being taken include all staff regularly changing blue gloves and washing hands. No one will touch the pizza once it has been cooked at 500 degrees, killing all bugs, and so they will be delivered uncut. If they need to be reheated, we suggest 2 mins in a very hot oven.
As a thank you to our amazing NHS, we will be giving customers the option to add a donation to their order. All proceeds will be used to pay for free pizzas for the staff at Wycombe Hospital and will be delivered on Sundays.
In these difficult times we need all the support we can. As our seating area has had to be closed down, we have stepped up our already busy delivery operation so our customers can still enjoy our burgers directly in their house.
We take pride in our burgers and only use the best fresh ingredients. Our homemade Mac ‘n’ cheese is made freshly in store every day, as also our onion rings and Mozzarella sticks. We have 5* hygiene ratings.

The Last Viceroy, Bourne End
For now of course until further notice from the Government, as you know more shops were told to close yesterday and only essential shops to stay open, there was no mention of takeaways to close, therefore we remain open until further notice.
With regards to our options we run a local home delivery service, as well as takeout. We open from 6pm to 11pm every day.
The Kings Head, Aylesbury
We’ve opened a Food Hall/Farm Shop in the old stables in our courtyard, selling staple foods – milk, bread, eggs, flour, veg and fruit and coffee. We also have draught and bottled beers, wines, soft-drinks, tea and coffee and meals for takeaway.
We really want to support and help our local area and those who live in the town centre and around us; as well as wanting to look after our staff and keep ourselves busy! So as soon as we heard the announcement Friday 20th March, that all pubs had to close, we set about creating a shop and stocked it from scratch in 48 hours. It was an empty stable on Friday night, but by Sunday night, all we needed was the veg and fruit to put out on display.
Using the amazing local suppliers who we have worked with for years, we’ve had constant deliveries and we keep in touch daily to make sure we have regular deliveries.
“We are so proud of our staff who have worked hard with us to get our shop up and running, and our suppliers who are working with us to keep stocks up. These are such unusual times that sticking together, keeping in touch and not letting our spirits drop, is important!”
Opening hours are 10am until 7pm, although these could change depending on when we find customers want to come in – in either case it is very different from what we’re used to with pub hours! We use social media throughout the day, to let everyone know what we’re doing, what we have in stock and what we’re expecting the next day. We also love to hear what customers would like us to stock.
We have bread from Tring, eggs from Aylesbury, milk and butter due in from Prestwood, bacon and sausages from Aylesbury too and of course great beer to take away in 2 & 4 pint containers from The Chiltern Brewery! All our veg and fruit comes to us via our local supplier in Aylesbury.
The King’s Head has been the heart of Aylesbury for 565 years. In that time, we have weathered all manner of local, national and international happenings – ‘Flu pandemics, Civil war, world wars and by the grace of God, we shall weather this too! We have no intention of closing our doors and want to do all we can to help and support those around us.
The Full Moon, Little Kingshill
Full menu and beer takeaway
In light of recent events we will be hosting our weekly Full Moon quiz at home via Facebook on Thursday 26th March at 8:30pm. We will do 4 rounds of 10 questions each. Get your pens and papers ready!
Hughenden Village Stores
We are absolutely committed to helping our community during this crisis, whilst ensuring the safety of our volunteers and staff. We have therefore re-assessed our processes and can now advise how we will go forward for the time being – we will become your ‘Home Delivery Hub’.
This means that we will not be open for customers to enter the shop, but we will be open for daily customer orders for home delivery. (The Coffee Shop has converted into the delivery control centre!) Orders will initially only be taken over the phone, however, we are considering the possibility of accepting email orders too – we will confirm this in due course.
We can take urgent, small shopping requests and card payments at the door although we wish to keep these to an absolute minimum as the phone is constantly ringing and our focus will be on fulfilling the orders for delivery. We have a large team of willing delivery volunteers at the ready, and most of our suppliers are still able, and planning to, deliver as it stands at the moment.
In the immediate future, we will therefore be open Monday – Saturday from 11am – 3pm for telephone orders to the shop – 01494 568653. We may be able to extend these hours until 4pm depending on demand, but we will advise of this as and when it becomes necessary and viable. Delivery volunteers will then be on a rota to collect the bags and deliver throughout the afternoon.
For key workers such as teachers still teaching in schools, emergency service and healthcare workers, we understand that you will probably not be able to make phone calls during your day, so we are happy for you to drop off shopping lists in a designated box outside the shop and we will make this order up for you. (Please leave your name and telephone number and we will call you later for payment).
For the safety of our volunteers and staff, all shop activities will be broken down into specific, separate time frames to ensure that staff are able to safely social distance from each other, whilst continuing with the vital activities of the shop.
Local business products we can offer are: Darvell’s Bakery fresh bread, Wells Farm Dairy milk, Blackwood’s Foods of Henley ham, cheese and yoghurts, Beechwood Eggs, Absolute Cuisine pies and frozen ready meals, Chiltern Farm bacon and Timpson’s Smallholding meat such as minced beef, chicken breasts, lamb chops and sausages.
The Cooking Academy
The Cooking Academy will be working their hardest to provide wellness tips and recipes to keep you fuelled and motivated when at home. They also want to help the community whether that’s shopping for food, preparing meals or offering advice on cooking and nutrition, let them know on social media if they can help.
Peterley Manor Farm
We are now offering a click and collect service for the Wild Strawberry Café, which can include: afternoon tea hampers (including vegan and veggie options), yurt survival kits, whole cakes and bakes and lunch takeaways too!
They can be ordered online through our website. Collection in the yurt involves minimal contact, only one customer is allowed in the yurt at any time.
Please see our shop opening hours below:
Tuesday – Friday 8:30 until 5pm
Saturday 9am until 4pm
These hours may change soon, please check our website and social media channels for details.
We have enforced some strict Covid-19 rules including limited customers in the shop at any one time and other social distancing measures to protect our staff and customers. We are now a cash free shop to maintain the best hygiene standards possible, keeping our staff and valued customers safe and healthy.

We are a new local non-profit food delivery service set up to support our community during COVID-19. We are working with our local restaurants and businesses to provide contact-free food delivery to our residents. We offer an online ordering platform, allowing people to order from the comfort of their home for themselves or for someone else they wish to send a meal to.
Each meal delivered helps mitigate the risk of spreading COVID-19 by reducing footfall in high-risk public areas such as supermarkets. Each order also contributes towards supporting our local care homes and key workers. We will be posting and sharing live updates of the community work we are doing along the way.
Information on the restaurants we are supporting can be found here www.feedbucks.co.uk. This is also were our customers can place their orders. We offer the option to order food in advance. At the moment we are taking orders from SL9 postcodes. However, we are looking to grow! We hope to have more restaurants on board very soon and expand our catchment area if there is a demand for our help.
