There can’t be many things that will make people line up in the rain in the middle of Beaconsfield on a Friday night. This time of year perhaps a meet and greet with an A lister such as Santa? But a burger? It’s gotta be a good burger for that level of devotion. And let me tell you. It is. In fact, it’s even better than that.
During lockdown No5 Beaconsfield flung open its doors… well its windows, to allow you to pick up one of their infamous burgers in their pop up burger shop. Every weekend people rushed online to try to reserve one before they sold out, and those who did were well rewarded. As soon as you take your first bite of their incredible burger memories of eating in rush back into the brain; sat in their cosy restaurant with not a care in the world. This is food that delivers on flavour and memory. It is true restaurant quality.
With a buttermilk fried chicken burger, halloumi burger and No5 Cheeseburger available alongside crispy chips and their wonderful dipping sauce (the truffle mayo is to die for) this is fast food at high standards. Jam packed full of flavour, melt in the mouth, oozing with taste, crispy, crunchy, simply delicious. It’s the sort of burger that leaves you rubbing your stomach, totally full, but wishing there was more.
As lockdown ends and No5 reopens its doors I can’t wait to get back inside, but for those who still want a burger hit at home during December they’ll be offering the No5 Cheeseburger for collection only. So, have yourself a merry little Cheeseburger Christmas. You won’t regret it.
