During the first lockdown Beaconsfield resident Sarah Clark got together with friends to form a virtual book club. Their aim was to provide structure and relief during the strange time we all found ourselves in.
Reading and book sales have increased over the last year as people have been at home with more time on their hands. Many of us have turned to books for escapism and light relief, a change of scene, to broaden horizons and for many other reasons.
