At Lindengate, we have been busy planting wildflowers, kitchen garden vegetable seeds, digging the beds and enjoying the return of our resident ducks back to our 5 acre therapeutic gardens and wildlife haven. Take in the sights and sounds of spring, sit in one of our many sheltered areas and take a moment for yourself.
Opening times will change from 1st April giving you the opportunity to enjoy the longer evenings. If you are bringing children you can take part in our nature trail, connecting with nature and the Five Ways to Wellbeing:
- Be Active
- Give to Others
- Take Notice
- Keep Learning
- Connect with Nature
If you are unable to visit in person take a look at www.lindengate.org.uk/lindengate-at-home for activities that can be enjoyed at home to maintain health and wellbeing.
Up until 1st April: Monday 9am – 12pm, Tuesday/Friday/Saturday between 1pm – 3pm
Lindengate will be closed on Good Friday 2nd April and Easter Monday 5th April, but will be open for anyone to drop in on Saturday 3rd April between 1pm – 3pm
Lindengate Mental Health Charity is located in a stunning five acre site where nature breathes new life into anyone who is struggling with their wellbeing. The garden lends itself to supporting people in recovering from a range of common mental health needs. The natural beauty and richness of the site help to restore and heal, whilst specialised gardening, conservation, construction, cooking, and nature-based art and craft activities provide focus and purpose.
