Valentine's Day Support

Statistics show that domestic abuse will affect one in four women and one in six men in their lifetime.

It’s vital we all know the signs of domestic abuse so that if you spot something that doesn’t look, or feel right you can find the help you need to report it.

It isn’t always physical signs such as cuts, bumps and bruises either: submissiveness, becoming withdraw or distanced from close family and friends can also highlight domestic abuse. For more information on how to spot the signs visit www.reducingtherisk.org.uk

If you, or someone you know are victims of domestic abuse, please speak to someone that can help you.

About the author

hiya bucks

Here at hiya bucks we go on regular walks exploring the local towns, villages, public footpaths, gardens, rivers, lakes and more! We love getting out and about discovering new places to visit and we thoroughly enjoy going to local events and getting involved with the community. We hope to inspire others to step out of their daily routines and see more of our Beautiful Buckinghamshire.
