The Bell at Aston Clinton

After an incredible refurbishment, The Bell at Aston Clinton reopened its doors on Saturday 21 August.

The Bell has been a favourite pub and restaurant in Aston Clinton for years. But now, having had a full makeover, the pub has further-expanded its impressive offering.

Housed in a beautiful Grade-II listed building, the pub’s new look is a careful balance of classic yet modern, featuring stylish new designs to create a warm, comfortable atmosphere for both casual dining and an evening out.

The menu is a thoughtful blend of pub classics and innovative new dishes, including stone baked pizzas, grill classics, steaks, burgers, and healthy mains under 650 calories. They also have a dedicated vegan menu, as well as a separate Sunday menu for that end-of-the-week roast.

As well as being a restaurant and pub, The Bell also has 11 stunning hotel rooms, making it a perfect venue for a Bucks staycation.

The pub is located on London Road, just five minutes away from the A41 junction, making it easily accessible from wherever you are in the county.

In what has been a tumultuous year for pubs and restaurants around the country, The Bell’s refurbishment marks a positive step for a key part of the Aston Clinton community.

General manager, Mark Jackson, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with the transformation at The Bell. The new design retains the pub’s stunning original features – including our trademark bell, of course! – but we’ve also given this beautiful building the new look it deserves.

“The Bell is ideal for guests to enjoy contemporary dining and cocktails with their friends and family; the re-opening marks a new chapter, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

The Bell in Aston Clinton is open 8am to 10pm every day. You can view menus, reserve a table, or sign up to their newsletter at or check out their Facebook page.
