The Hearty Table

Have your cake and definitely eat it too with this fantastic and innovative idea.

If you’re currently in need of a venue to host a summer party, a wedding breakfast and reception, or if you’re already looking ahead to booking the Christmas work party, then The Hearty Table could be exactly what you’re looking for.

The Hearty Table’s concept is simple, and yet so unusual and effective: host your party at someone else’s home. By opening up her house and garden to bookings for events, owner Tammy has created a space where you can have afternoon tea, a full 5-course meal or, for even larger groups, an amazing grazing table and a band for a bit of a boogie in the comfort of a homely setting.

With access to a beautiful and spacious garden with plenty of privacy and seating, Tammy plays the role of maître D’, head chef and personal party planner, helped by a whole crew of young smiley staff looking after your every wish. Tammy can prepare a whole table of delicious treats from sandwiches and salads to scones and cakes (including some bespoke vegan options for this writer!) and, just to help encourage the dancing, there can be a pop-up bar serving plenty of alcohol, and you can even bring your own drinks if you’re hosting a private event.

It’s wonderfully versatile idea: by day, Tammy can set the dining table and serve a whole meal for up to 24 people, and then turn it into a party space for 80 people whilst the festivities continue, ideal for a wedding party; or, if a quiet cream tea is closer to your idea of a good time, Tammy’s homemade cakes won’t fail to delight, something we can definitely personally attest to.

It can be an endless struggle to find a venue when you’re planning an event, so why not let Tammy impress and dazzles your guests in a novel, inviting and, most importantly, tasty way?
