Wet Wet Wet

‘Raw, real, spontaneous entertainment’ – Wet Wet Wet are coming to the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Friday 10th May

Following the massive success of sold-out shows in Glasgow and London, Scottish soft-rock and soul band Wet Wet Wet are coming to the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre for one night only.

After taking the music scene by storm in 1987, Wet Wet Wet have sold over 15 million records, spent over 500 weeks in the UK charts and sold hundreds of thousands of tickets to shows all over the world. However, now with the addition of former Liberty X singer Kevin Simm, the band are back at their creative best, and this gig promises to be a cracking one.

‘It feels natural to be on stage with the guys,’ says Kevin. ‘It almost feels just like a jam session!’ As the new face on the block, Kevin is also looking forward to bringing his own unique take on these rock-anthem songs.

‘I’m not a tribute to Marty, I’m trying to bring my rawness to it, rather than it being a copy,’ says Kevin. ‘The first show in Glasgow I was really quite nervous about that…but after that I felt comfortable with it – it’s such good fun with the guys.’

Whether you’re a long-term fan of the band or you’ve only just discovered their catalogue, this looks like an absolutely unmissable show.

Wet Wet Wet will be at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Friday 10th May. You can book tickets here: https://www.atgtickets.com/shows/wet-wet-wet/aylesbury-waterside-theatre/
