Wycombe Swan Pantomime: Dick Whittington – The Panto Paved with Gold

Well, what can we say? Wycombe Swan amazed us again with an entertaining panto. We would recommend it to the young and the old and everyone inbetween. An extremely funny show with brilliant costumes and a high quality production.

The evil King Rat certainly gave us a fright but luckily Dick Whittington was there to save the day! Who doesn’t love a hero? Our little one certainly did, he said Dick Whittington was his favourite character. We loved Idle Jack too, his jokes were hilarious, there are too many to recall, you’d have to witness them for yourself!

We always love the bit after the show when some lucky children get to go up on stage and have a sing song with the joker of the cast. Idle Jack was the one for this job and he made the audience laugh out loud when he asked if one little girl was drinking Red Bull as she seemed to have dancing wings!

The moments of accidental malfunction always have the audience roaring with laughter. We won’t say anymore as we don’t like to dish out spoilers, all we can say is you won’t have a great time – oops, oh YES you will!
